Paolo Bediones to Host “Survivor Philippines”
From a reliable source it was confirmed by PEP that Paolo Bedoines was chosen by GMA News and Public Affairs to host Survivor Philippines. The source whipered and said (that was connected with the News ad Public Affairs of GMA-7), the name of Paolo as host and there was a reminder not to tell anyone that he is the source. Only this weekend that Kapuso network will announce about this.
At first, Paolo was only included in the shortlist to be chosen as host on the biggest reality show that came in the country. But the source didn’t tell about the other names on the list. The good record of Paolo as host of Extra Challenge and Tok, Tok, Tok! Isang Milyon Pasok now gave an edge for him to be chosen.
This is the reason why that Tok, Tok, Tok! of GMA-7 will be stopped for a while so Paolo can prepare for the Survivor Philippines which is bloody on all aspects.
PEP’s source is sure that if ever that there was an offer from ABC-5 to Paolo, it can’t be accepted because of the demand in Survivor Philippines. There was a rumor that there will be a big change in ABC-5 in the coming months and they will need to have big talents, and one of them is Paolo that they tried to get.
The last time that Paolo was interviewed by PEP, he don’t have an idea of his next show after Tok, Tok, Tok!. He don’t even know if his contract will be renewed by Kapuso Network which will end September this year.
With Survivor Philippines, Paolo doesn’t have to worry about anything. There is no reason for him to leave and switch to other network which was rumored in the past.
“August” the source said when he was asked when will Survivor Philippines start. But it was unclear if this is the start of taping or airing. What is sure is in May, the audition will start all over the country to aearch for the 16 castaways that will face the intense mental and physical challenges that will last for 39 days.
The source also told PEP where the location of he taping will take place but is was requested to be off-the-record for the moment. The taping will not occur in the Philippines and many will raise their brows because they will expect that the location will be on the undiscovered places of the country.
