Remember the gag show in the 90’s called “Goin’ Bananas” starring Edgar Mortiz, Johnny Delgado, Al Tantay, Christopher de Leon, and the late Jay Ilagan? It’s going to have a spin-off on ABS-CBN very soon. The title? Banana Split.

Banana Split is topbilled with kapamilya female stars like Kristine Hermosa, Anne Curtis, Valerie Concepcion, Iya Villania and Angelica Panganiban. Also in the cast are Bangs Garcia, Dianne Medina, Princess Ryan, KoolChx, RR Enriquez, Janna, AJ Perez, Lauren Young, and Riza Santos.

The only gag show that is currently airing on ABS-CBN is another spin-off of Goin’ Bananas which is the children’s comedy program - Goin’ Bulilit. The addition of Banana Split will definitely delights kapamilya viewers who love watching comedy programs and gag shows.
