One of the highlights in watching Manny Pacquiao’s bouts is the singing of the Philippine national anthem. It’s one of the rare moments when we feel proud as Filipinos and show the world that we kick ass (so to speak).

In the recently concluded bout between Pacman and Juan Manuel Marquez of Mexico, Ciara Sotto sang our “Lupang Hinirang.”

Other local artists who sang our national anthem on previous fights are Kyla, Sarah Geronimo, Jennifer Bautista, Regine Velasquez and Geneva Cruz.
