Because of severe depression Criselda Volks attempted suicide in her condominuim in Makati as per news in Chika Minute. According to her maid, it was not the first time that she attempted it. Criselda wanted to go to the U.S. to work but she can’t leave because her husband Chris Villanueva refuse to sign the papers for their child to go with her.

During her interview, this is what she said:

Siguro, I’m just sick and tired of being alone and I nearly gave up. Everybody thinks my life is Ok and I’m happy actually I’m so tired of being alone. I wanted to be with my family but they are all in the states. And I can’t leave because I can’t leave my son. I’m the only one he’s got here in the Philippines. ~ Criselda Volks
