Two soap opera of ABS-CBN were refused by Angelika dela Cruz because she didn’t like the role. The offer should be a follow up of the Bituing Walang Ningning on which her role was a protagonist. She said she like the role. “For me”, she said, what is important is I’m happy with what I’m doing”. “Those two soap opera which was offered to me I feel I’m not happy so I refused the offer.” She added.

At this point in her life she was choosy to the projects that were being offered to her which she said “Acting is only my passion, if I like the role is like what I’m potraying in Pedro Penduko at ang mga Engkanto I won’t let it go”. The real reason behind this is she is now more focused on her business. She is busy managing her Stars Bar-restaurant in Malabon. If she has no taping she is in her bar almost every night.

And as for her lovelife, she’s happy with her non-showbiz a half-Chinese half-Filipino boyfriend. He is also a businessman according to Angelika. They’ve been together for over two years but they still have no wedding plans.
